SKC Engineering is a leading provider of welding Engineering and consulting services, based in Surrey, British Columbia. With a wealth of experience and expertise, we specialize in producing welding procedures and acting as retained engineers for CWB welding programs.
SKC Engineering was founded by Stephen Siu in 1997 with a simple mission - to provide exceptional welding & manufacturing consulting. For over ten years the company operated with a single employee, until Mathew Smith joined in 2008. With the combination of Mathew’s leadership & vision and Steve’s deep knowledge of the welding industry the company expanded rapidly and was eventually sold to Applus+ in 2015.
In 2024 Mathew Purchased the company back from Applus+ and it once again operates as an independent, family owned, business providing the same level of exceptional welding & manufacturing consulting that Steve envisioned.
Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional quality and ensuring the success of our clients' welding projects. We take pride in our ability to provide innovative solutions and overcome any welding challenges that may arise.
