Mathew is the President & CEO of SKC Engineering and has lead the growth & development of the company since 2008. He is a CWB certified welding engineer and acts in this capacity for over 150 companies in BC and beyond. He has experience with the development and testing of welding procedures for carbon steels, HSLA Steels, Stainless, Aluminum & other non-ferrous alloys.

Mathew is currently the Director for the Centre for Welding Technologies & Metallurgy Research at BCIT where he is actively involved in applied research related to welding automation, wire arc additive manufacturing and implementation of high deposition rate arc welding processes.

Ramin is the Engineering Manger at SKC Engineering and is responsible for day to day operations. He has more than 20 years' experience in the field of material, metallurgy, welding engineering, inspection, coordination, QA, QC with consulting engineering, research and manufacturing aspects. Ramin is skilled in designing pressure vessels, storage tanks, HSLA large diameter DSAW spiral and UO pipes, material selection, heat treatment, welding processes (SMAW, SAW, FCAW, GMAW, GTAW, ERW, Stud, Friction, Electro Slag and advanced welding processes) welding metallurgy of steels (C-Mn, Low alloy, thermo mechanical, HSLA, high alloy and stainless steels), Welding and Brazing of Non-Iron metals (Cu, Ni, Al, Ti and their alloys), Non Destructive Tests (NDT). Strong knowledge in welding procedure specification and procedure qualification records (WPS, PQR), Codes ASME, ASTM, AWS, API, CSA, EN, AISI, BS and DIN.
